Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
In the classroom, I have utilized GIS to run data analyses and to create story maps. My industry experience with GIS has primarily been for the purpose of reporting data in a public and private setting. Some public items are shown here:
Story Map: Tsang Lab Studies and Sites - 2019
This story map was created as a project for an undergraduate course in GIS, and is a brief overview on some locations that were being studied by the Tsang Stream Lab at the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the Spring of 2019.
The map is a brief introduction into a few study sites at the time and the projects that were being conducted at these locations.
Informational Maps
The following images are some examples of simple informational maps that I have created while working for a consulting firm to the City and County of Honolulu Department of Facility Maintenance, Stormwater Quality Division. These maps are publicly available in the document here, on pages 21 through 37. These maps were generated using ArcMap 10.8.
